Debra NicholsDebra Nichols, Executive Director

Debra Nichols, originally from Andalusia Alabama relocated to Pensacola to become a team member here at YourLife. Deb has been a nurse for over twenty years, most of her career spent working with those with mental health issues. Since transitioning into Assisted Living with Memory care, Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia are now Debra’s passions. She loves spending time with her six grandchildren, going to the beach, and splurging on shoes and accessories.

Suzy McCannSuzy McCann, Director of Community Relations

Suzy McCann is thrilled to join us as the Director of Community Relations for YourLife Senior Living, and to be on a team that sits at the perfect intersection of her experience in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Memory Care and Home Health.
She has previously been chosen to be on the panel of the Geriatric Committee of Senator Wyndell Mitchel, Alabama, managed Skilled Nursing State proclamations with Governor Bob Riley, Alabama, and served as Senior Citizen advocate for the Alabama Nursing Home Association.
Most recently, Suzy led partnerships and new business between local Neurologist, Cardiologist and Orthopedist to improve Memory Care quality measures among Escambia and Santa Rosa Senior Citizen population, through Community Classrooms, staff presentations, and presenting measurable outcomes to physicians.
As she joins the Your Life team, she is excited to use her expertise to create the ideal environment and support system for a thriving Memory Care experience for families and residents, and looks forward to getting to know and serve our residents.
After hours and on weekends, you can find Suzy camping and fishing with her husband Keith, visiting their College Freshman in Auburn, AL, and completing classes for her University of Miami MBA program.

Jenna CampbellJenna Campbell, Director of Engagement

A Pensacola native, Jenna Campbell has been working in the senior living field for over six years. She brings a strong passion for seniors and a background in event planning, elderly program planning, cultural studies and leadership to her role as YourStory Coordinator. In her spare time, Ms. Campbell loves being outdoors, refurbishing furniture, taking pictures or just being at home cooking. She hopes to travel extensively and experience different cultures.

Tyrone CorbittTyrone Corbitt, Director of Culinary Services

Originally from Aiken, South Carolina, Tyrone Corbitt developed a passion for food and cooking at the early age of 13. After working at his grandfather’s bar and grill, he chose to pursue a career in culinary arts.

Mr. Corbitt brings great perspective to YourLife of Pensacola, drawing from ten years of experience in the food service industry. He is committed to proactive, involved leadership and has a passion for enhancing the quality of life for those affected by memory challenges. His experience in catering and event planning as the owner of Exquisite Catering adds to his talents at YourLife of Pensacola.

Joe BartellJoe Bartell, Director of Enviromental Operations

Joe Bartell was raised in Marion, South Carolina. He graduated in June of 1985 and joined the United States Navy in August 1988. During his 26-year career as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate, he served honorably, obtaining the second highest enlisted rank as Senior Chief Aviation Boatswain’s Mate. Additionally, he served in numerous roles of leadership to include eight major war campaigns, from the Persian Gulf Wars, Wars in Afghanistan and the War on Terror. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University. Mr. Bartell currently lives in Pace, Florida, with his wife, Constance, of 21 years. They have four children, Cody, Nicholas, John and Haley. Joe enjoys his family time, church and various outdoor and hands-on activities.

Terri MeliaTerri Melia, Business Office Manager

Terri brings over 25 years of experience as a Medical Practice Manager and Business Office Manager to her role at YourLife of Pensacola. Her senior living career began with Section 8 housing in Northern Michigan. Ten years ago, Ms. Melia moved to Florida to work for an upscale independent and assisted living community. Her love for senior living shows in her lifelong career and commitment to serving the senior population.

Lindsay Tia, Director of Wellness

Tia was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. She has been with YourLife since Aug 2017 and has been working with elderly for 11 years. In her career she has earned two awards; Wound Treatment Associate 2015 and Who’s Who Among Nurses 2009. Tia says her favorite part of her job is “caring for residents and staff, and “I love there is never a dull moment here” she also says, “the wisdom and knowledge each individual care to share with my generation is an award of its own.” In Tia’s spare time she enjoys watching Florida State football and being involved with her church. Tia says “I really believe in my heart that my calling is to be a counselor to all ages. My mother and father have always inspired me to give all that I can to everything and if you can’t give your all, give nothing at all. They have always steered me in the right path, and they are why I am the person I am today.” YourLife is beyond grateful to have Tia as part of the team, as her love for her residents never fades.
